Baby Shabana , an unwanted girl child.. Being the eldest she was made to take care of siblings. She was denied education and was forced to get married at the age of 14 to a 45 year old man. Baby Shabana’s destiny was decided by the society. She gave birth to two kids when she was not even 18 years old and her husband too passed away leaving Baby Shabana all alone to survive with her two children.
Ostracized by the society, she was thrown out along with her children soon after her husband died. Stree Shakti Baby Shabana who not only struggled to give better education to her children but also took a step forward to protect and fight for the other women in the society who are facing the similar trauma which she went through.
Today, she fights for their rights and helps them to give them and their children a good status.
Another, Stree Shakti Savita is also an example, who was thrown out of the inlaws house soon after her husband died. Savita, with no permanent shelter and even to provide one meal a day to her children survived through all the odds and came out strong to fight for 10 years to get the property of her husband which she is legally a owner. Today, she is spreading awareness about the rights of the widows and fighting too for their cause.
